Born in Barcelona and based in New York, Laura Sala is a Filmmaker and Photographer who uses different means of expression to represent her work. She constantly strives to evolve with new media as an artistic response. ​

Among her work, “Nyctophobia”, a short film starring actors Alex Monner and Jorel D Danndy, won several awards including Best Film at NodoCCS Festival or Audience Award and Jury Special mention at Subtravelling Film Festival.

She has participated in numerous exhibitions in galleries and at festivals, including which the Movistar Loom Festival, Pioneer Works, Miscelanea, Hainmey Gallery, Nibiru Festival, Producers Club NY, and the Tupper Festival. Her work has also toured festivals in Asia, Europe, and the United States.
